Forbes India Aquasail Regatta concludes
Forbes India, the country's most influential business magazine and Aquasail, the pioneer in leisure sailing in India hosted the first ever world-class corporate sailing regatta series in India at Mumbai Harbour, near Gateway Of India. Sailing the tide and enjoying this unique experience were Rajan Mariwala, MD, Bombay Oils, Indrajit Gupta, Editor, Forbes India, Rajiv Kaul, Executive Vice Chairman & CEO- CMS, Robin Conway, Head- Consumer Risk, HSBC, Ronita Mitra, Head - Corporate Brand Group, ICICI Bank Ltd, Murari Rajan, Executive Director, Piramal Enterprises and many more.
Today's final leg where more than 70 corporates participated had 3 sessions of the regatta and 4 teams participated in each session. Each team consisted of 6 members. The high octane race lasted for 20 minutes per session. The winners also won Gifts, felicitations and certificates.
In the first regatta session the team aboard "Thunder Flash" including Surendra Kapur, Mrs. Kapur, Bhushan Sethi, Vipul Varma, Tanay Varma, and Sachin Sanghvi were the eventual winners after some closely contested, fast racing around the course. The second regatta was very exciting with extremely close
Melwyn and Reena D'silva and Deepak Saliam. The winners were cheered later in the evening over a simple ceremony.
