Former Amul MD RS Sodhi takes up an advisory role with Reliance Retail

RS Sodhi, who had stepped down as the Managing Director of GCMMF Ltd (Amul) in January this year, has come on board Reliance Retail in an advisory role, as per media reports. Sodhi’s mandate will be to strengthen Reliance’s grocery business by helping develop Reliance Retail’s fresh fruits and vegetables unit.

Prior to this, Sodhi was with the Gujarat Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF Ltd), where he had joined back in 1982 as a Senior Sales Officer.
