FUJIFILM India’s “Hero with an Endoscope” spreads smiles
FUJIFILM India, a leader in healthcare technology, unveils its latest brand film, “Hero with an Endoscope,” as part of its “Stories of More Smiles” campaign. This heartfelt narrative brings to light the crucial role of accessible healthcare in underserved regions and aligns with FUJIFILM’s Group Purpose of “Giving our world more smiles.”
The film showcases the transformative power of early detection and timely intervention, following the real-life story of Gopal, a patient whose life was saved by the Endobus initiative. Launched by the K Shantha Foundation in December 2023, Endobus is a mobile healthcare unit equipped with Fujifilm's cutting-edge CAD EYE™ and advanced endoscopic systems. These technologies allow doctors to detect gastrointestinal diseases in underserved regions, helping identify health issues in their early stages.
Filmed in the scenic locales of Tiruchirappalli and Kolli Hills, Tamil Nadu, the film was conceptualized by FUJIFILM India's brand team and directed by Ranvir Kumar Suman, with Seaface Films producing. Shot across 12 locations in just two days, the production involved over 60 crew members and 70 featured individuals, using Fujifilm's own Premista Cine lenses to capture the raw emotion and transformative power of the initiative.
“Hero with an Endoscope” honors the tireless work of doctors and healthcare workers, who are recognized in the film as the ‘cradle of society,’ dedicated to improving lives in challenging environments. The narrative centers around Dr. Govindraj and the Endobus team, emphasizing the impact of philanthropy in healthcare. Gopal’s story of survival, thanks to early detection, is a powerful testament to the life-saving benefits of accessible healthcare.

Viswanathan Multi-Specialty Hospital, Tiruchirappalli, shared: “The film brings to light the story of Gopal, whose life has been changed by the Endobus initiative.
