Gitanjali Lifestyle to expand its wings

Gitanjali Group's retail brand Gitanjali Lifestyle is reportedly planning to expand its wings by foraying into spa business, specialty cosmetic and perfume stores, mini-theatres and a chain of fine dining restaurants.

The company has extensive plans to get into the new businesses. If the latest buzz is to be believed Gitanjali is already in talks with the European spa operators and is also looking for the fine dining space.

The company plans to start a chain of minitheatres with the latest technology in satellite distribution. These theatres will have 150 seats and only a few number of screens, even one screen in some cases.
