Giving back to the society – Momentus Digital’s CSR initiative

Momentus Digital, a strategic digital partner for Consumer Commerce Companies is proud  to announce its recent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in partnership with  Umoya Sports, aimed at promoting sports awareness and inclusivity for children with special  needs. This initiative reflects Momentus Digital's commitment to fostering community  engagement and empowering under-represented groups through the transformative power  of sports.

The event, held on March 19,2025, brought together children with special needs from  various backgrounds to participate in a day filled with fun, learning, and physical activity.  Through adaptive sports programs and engaging activities, participants had the opportunity  to develop their skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of teamwork.

“Sports has an incredible ability to unite people and promote inclusivity,” said  Arooshi  Dharamdasani, CEO at Momentus Digital. “We believe that every child deserves the chance  to participate in sports and enjoy its benefits. Our CSR initiative with Umoya Sports is a step

towards creating a more inclusive environment where children with special needs can  thrive.”

Umoya Sports, believes every child with disability prospers to success through their ‘Right to  Play’. The Umoya team facilitated the event by providing expert coaching and resources  tailored specifically for children with special needs. The initiative not only aimed to enhance  physical fitness but also focused on building self-esteem and social skills among participants and employees of Momentus.

A key component of this initiative was the flagship program, Joy of Play, a year-long,  progressive sports and holistic play-based education program curated specifically for  individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disorders, locomotor disabilities, and  visual impairment. The program’s unique pedagogy integrates 21st-century skills and socio emotional learning, aiming to develop fundamental developmental skills while teaching  foundational sports skills in disciplines such as football, basketball, athletics, and yoga.

The Joy of Play program focuses on developing Motor Coordination, Balance and Posture and Agility

The program offers numerous benefits, including improved strength, endurance, and  flexibility, helping children channel their energy effectively for better classroom engagement.  It fosters essential socio-emotional skills like building friendships and confidence, creating an  inclusive culture in educational settings. Additionally, it nurtures empathy and teamwork  among neurotypical children while cultivating leadership abilities. Through a holistic sensory

play-based approach, the program integrates early childhood education concepts tailored to  the needs of children with special needs, ensuring their overall development.

To ensure the effectiveness of the program, we monitor impact parameters that track the  growth and development of participants.

The event garnered support from volunteers, local businesses, and community members  who came together to celebrate the resilience and talent of these young athletes.  Participants showcased their skills in various sports activities, demonstrating that  determination knows no limits.

One key objective that Momentus is trying to serve is that Corporate Social Responsibility is  a sustained effort that makes a difference to the life of the needy; and not just a one time  effort. Momentus has committed to regular involvement in this initiative, whereby an event  will be conducted every quarter to measure and improve the efficacy from time to time. Kavya, PR & Marketing Lead, Momentus Digital added “CSR at Momentus is a mission; and  not a tick-mark activity; we are committed to making a positive impact to the lives of these  children over a long term”

Momentus Digital is committed to continuing its support for initiatives that promote  inclusivity and empower individuals within the community. This event marks just the  beginning of a series of CSR efforts aimed at making a positive impact on society.
