Good Times in an edgy new avatar unveiled at Shiro!
English-language lifestyle television channel – NDTV Good Times is all set to celebrate its charismatic, vibrant new brand identity at Shiro – the premium luxury restaurant that shares the very same characteristics.
With common target audience of socially upbeat, well-travelled, cosmopolitan young & independent generation who want to live in style, admire fashion, are adventurous about food and travel – it was only befitting that Shiro played the host. The party saw all the anchors and celebs from the channel’s acclaimed shows. With a slicker look, crazier anchors and edgier shows, NDTV Good Times is innovating its programming to reach out to Generation Y. One of the most important facets of their new ‘look’ is the integration of social media in their brand new tagline - #LiveYoung. Translating their understanding of the role of digital media in the lives of today’s youth, Shiro and NDTV Good Times will be running a contest online that gives four lucky winners an exclusive chance to join the party!
Speaking on the occasion, Arati Singh, Channel Head, NDTV Good Times said “With an increasingly maturing lifestyle space in India at an inflection point, and as pioneers/leaders in that space, we are redefining the lifestyle entertainment category codes by now catering to the youth and focusing on food, travel and fashion. Our content, look, feel and packaging will now clearly reflect this change. In the new avatar, the channel will take a fresher, edgier and more relevant approach to its programming targeted towards the young and the young at heart, and this association will also help us further our relations in the world of entertainment and hospitality.”
The perfect union of glamour, glitz and fine dining – the #Live Young party this May will see both Shiro and NDTV Good Times establish themselves further in their respective industries. The channel has begun its contest via Twitter with the hashtag @experienceshiro and @ndtvgoodtimes to win special invites to the #LiveYoung party.
