Google to buy AdMob!

Google the web major is all set to buy AdMob and has offered a sum of $750 million. AdMob, is leading advertising network on mobile internet domain and provides advertising on mobile internet and WAP sites.

The deal is touted to be the third largest ever undertaken by Google. The company plans to take its online advertising dominance to the mobile web, where its Android smartphone operating system is becoming increasingly popular.

AdMob has a system that serves display ads on mobile phones and its purchase could give the still nascent market a powerful boost, analysts said.
