Gujarat and Karnataka lifts ban on sale of Maggi!

Good news for all 2 – minute Maggi lovers as ban has been lifted in state of Gujarat and Karnataka on Monday. It has been just two days when Maggi samples cleared all safety tests and was labelled as safe to consume by Bombay High Court. With this news, Karnataka and Gujarat governments said they would lift the ban on this Nestle product on account of lack of clarity upon the permissible limits of lead. As we reported earlier, lead content in Maggi noodles were much below than the permissible limits as declared by the tests conducted in three laboratories deignated by Bombay High Court.

Also, various countries like USA, UK, Singapore, Australia and others have found Maggi noodles manufactured in India safe for consumption. Nestle will now commence manufacturing the product and will start selling only after the noodles variants are also cleared by the three laboratories as orders passed by Court. With clearance of that, Maggi will find its way in Gujarat state.
