Halla Bol on RED FM
Once again it’s that time of the year when the nation will set their eyes fixed on the green field….Cricket fans will stall every time the bat hits a sixer and crowd will cheer every time the ball comes to the stadium….One dream. One vision – to see the nation sweat it out on the field…. and Superhits 93.5 Red FM being nonetheles has joined the bandwagon. On this great occasion, Superhits 93.5 RED FM has partnered with Rajasthan Royals (RR) as its Official Radio Partner.
Taking ahead the philosophy of ‘Halla Bol’, RR and RED FM translate this belief for its listeners. ‘Halla Bol’ will be said through various fun mediums – like on air contests, highlights of every RR match and most importantly – the bytes of the teams key players.
What’s more? By participating in these contests, listeners stand a chance to win tickets for Rajasthan Royals’ matches. On similar lines, the station had also executed an on-ground activation, grabbing eye balls for every RR fan held in Jaipur.
Speaking on the tie-up, Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP Projects and Programming, RED FM said, “Superhits 93.5 Red FM’s tagline ‘Bajaate Raho’ is in perfect sync with Rajasthan Royals’ ‘Halla Bol’ philosophy. We have planned a bunch of exciting programming initiatives to reach out to our cricket loving listeners across the country with content they will not get on any other radio station network in India. Thus, being a perfect match as the Official Radio Partner to the team, we are proud to say ‘Halla Bol’ at RED FM.”
On March 3, 2012, RED FM created an on-ground activation, including RED FM Jaipur’s most admired RJ Sudarshan hosting the event held at Pink Square Mall. The activity was attended by the team’s backbone Rahul Dravid and Sreesanth. This was the finale of a weeklong activity on-air, with winners meeting the cricketers in the mall and getting autographed RR merchandise from them.
The two on-air contests called ‘Coach Ki Khoj’ and ‘Run Neeti’ will begin with the tournament, on April 4, 2012. The former contest will be led by RED FM Jaipur’s breakfast show ‘Morning No 1’ while the latter by the stations evening show ‘U turn’.
