High Alert festival on MOVIES NOW

Of all the iconic Hollywood characters, the cops are the most inspirational for their strength of character and display of courage even under the most extreme situations. This May, MOVIES NOW has lined up 4 films featuring such Supercops who are always on High Alert against corruption and dishonesty. They are out to catch the bad guys and go beyond the call of duty to reach their goal. They are committed to their mission and are unswerving in the face of difficulty. The Supercops will never back down, they will never give-up and they will not bend even if they have to go solo against their nemesis.

 

Meet Robocop 2 - a futuristic cyborg fashioned from cutting-edge technology and the biological remains of slain Detroit police officer. He is on a mission to get a corrupt kingpin under the law and stop him from spreading the menace of drugs on the streets of Detroit.

 

Next is the action adventure movie, Get Smart, where the humble administrative officer, Agent Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) finds himself in the thick of action alongside the sexy Agent 99 (Anne Hathway) when the agency's head office is attacked, the Chief decides to assign him on task. Taking up the challenge, both the agents set off to combat their attackers.

 

One of the most famous Hollywood cop pairs – Tango & Cash are heading your way! The narcotic detectives are framed for murder by the Crime Lord Yves Perret who is furious at the loss of income that Tango and Cash have caused him. With no alibi they find themselves thrown into jail with criminals they have themselves managed to convict. Getting out of this will be a tricky one! 

 

John Cena plays the courageous Detective Danny Fisher in 12 rounds. His girlfriend has been kidnapped, by an ex-con tied to Fisher's past and he is forced to complete 12 challenges in order to secure her safe release. Watch this action packed film to find out how detective Fisher finds his girlfriend and takes the ex-con to task!
