Hope triumphs when Sachin says "there is hope'!
At a juncture where the game has hit a rough patch, Sachin, who is not a man of many words, speaks only for the purpose of the game in his exclusive interview with TIMES NOW on the eve of IPL. Arguably the best cricket icon in the world, Sachin Tendulkar, who is never known to have make a loose fielding on the emotional pitch, lets his bat always do the talking, be it for the game or for the powers associated with it. But yet he says, "Life is not a smooth journey always and there are some rough patches in between and you overcome all those hurdles," †leaving absolutely no room for doubt that the gentlemen's game won't either.
The legend who has led Indian cricket from the front places his complete faith in the game more than anything else while talking to TIMES NOW's Boria Majumdar. "When competitiveness is viewed by millions, you leave these things behind. I am sure cricket will help overcome all these hurdles," says the master blaster, who also spoke about his right hand injury and the chances of his playing in the final of the IPL 3 for Mumbai Indians on April 25.
