Hyundai Motor India reappoints Unsoo Kim as MD for three-year term
Hyundai Motor India has reappointed Unsoo Kim as Managing Director for a three-year term starting January 25, 2025. The decision, approved by the company's board of directors, highlights Kim’s enduring leadership and contributions to Hyundai’s success in India.
Kim, associated with Hyundai since 1991, played a pivotal role in the automaker’s historic initial public offering (IPO) earlier this year, which became the largest in Indian history. Before his current role, Kim served as Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Hyundai Motor Company, strengthening its global presence.
This reappointment underscores Hyundai’s confidence in Kim’s vision as the company continues to expand its footprint in the Indian market.
