The show host insists on revealing outfits to perform on Zee TV’s Ram Milaayi Jodi special episode

Women these days, I tell you! Check out what the pretty Dance India Dance show hostSaumya Tandon has reportedly said! Having recently signed Saumya on for a dance cameo on the show Ram Milaayi Jodi, Zee TV offered to have their in-house stylist design Saumya’s lehenga for the naach-gaana sequence. On seeing the preliminary designs of her outfit, Saumya is said to have mailed the channel back saying she’d rather have her own stylist do her clothes.

When asked the reason behind this, Saumya revealed, “The channel’s stylist had designed a lehenga that barely did my body any justice. My curves simply wouldn’t show in something so boring! I will have my personal stylist who understands my form well to design something that flatters my frame.” All this, when the channel’s brief to her for the dance sequence required practically no skin-show.

Insiders from the sets of the show revealed that the idea was to feature a number of popular television figures shaking a leg on the occasion of the lead protagonist Mona’s “Roka”ceremony - a wholesome “Sooraj Barjatya style” family entertainment act. But with Saumya eager to offer her fans an extra dose of oomph, the channel has apparently gone ahead and shot a sequence with the beauty that showcases her at her “curvilicious” best! Somehow, we don’t see the men in the audience complaining.
