Indiatimes COO quits; joins Group Firm Vijayanand Printers

The year 2009 seems to be a year of personnel departures for Times Internet Ltd. It started with Deepak Sogani (then CEO) who quit the company in January followed by Dinesh Wadhawan who stepped down as CEO in March. And now we have a new one! Indiatimes COO Sunil Rajshekhar has stepped down from his position to move to Vijayanand Printers Ltd (VPL) as CEO.

VPL's publications include Vijay Karnataka, The Times Of India Kannada and Bangalore Mirror.

Sunil Rajshekhar's move to VPL as CEO has led to Chinnen Das, who was serving as President at Vijayanand Printers being named Director, Business Development (South). Both Das and Rajshekhar will report to BCCL CEO Ravi Dhariwal.
