As per media reports, the following four companies have come onboard as sponsors for the 2024 edition of the tournament, with more lined-up in the coming days...

RuPay: The Indian payment network secures a three-year deal, showing its commitment to the sport.
Angel One: This online broking platform gets a five-year sponsorship slot.
Ceat: The tire manufacturer retains its strategic timeout partnership for another five years.
Other slots
Interestingly, there were no takers for the coveted Orange Cap (awarded to the highest run scorer) and Purple Cap (awarded to the highest wicket-taker) partnerships, nor for the umpire sponsorship slots.
The BCCI yesterday announced the schedule for the first two weeks of IPL 2024, which will be held as the country gears up for the Lok Sabha elections. The matches will be held across 10 cities, with each team playing between three and five matches.
