IPL to announce new franchise soon

The Indian Premier League will soon announce the new franchise owners are on March 8.

IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi's Twitter status informs that Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Kanpur, Dharamshala, Indore, Cuttack, Gwalior and Vishakapatnam are the current cities with stadia that can invite bids. "Rajkot, Pune, Baroda and Cochin which have new stadia going under construction are also eligible to be bid," he added.
