IPL to launch iTunes applications

After a high tech tie up with web giant Google for the live streaming of cricket matches during IPL season 3. Now Indian Premier League is reportedly working on the applications for iTunes.

According to the reports, IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi's Twitter status suggests that the IPL Governing Council is working on applications for itunes, android and blackberry.

Reports suggest, IPL matches will be shown live on direct TV but YouTube will be delayed, just to add to these IPL is planning to launch games around IPL to the US market.

The tickets of the matches will be available from the first week of February.
