IRS 2011 Q4: Malayala Manorama tops the chart of language dailies
Malayala Manorama, Malayalam daily tops the chart with growth from 9,912,000 to 9,937,000. At no. two Marathi daily Lokmat too showed rise from7, 438,000 to 7,562,000 so as Daily Thanthi at no.3 reported rise from 7,447,000 to 7,503,000. At no. 4, Mathrubhumi shows growth from 6,630,000 to 6,666,000 whereas Anand Bazar Patrika declined from 6,098,000 to 6,049,000. At no. 6 Telugu daily Eenadu shows fall from 6,101,000 to 5,991,000 where at no. 7, Telugu daily Sakshi reported slight rise from 5,219,000 to 5,303,000. Tamil daily Dinakaran and Gujarati daily Gujarat Samachar showed decline as Dinakaran fall from 5,253,000 to 5,227,000 and Gujarat Sanachar from 5,186,000 to 5,169,000. Marathi daily, Daily Sakal reported good growth from 4,273,000 to 4,400,000 at no. ten.
