Jaipur Rugs announces Greg Foster as Artistic Director

Jaipur Rugs is thrilled to announce the appointment of Greg Foster as Artistic Director. Through  a long professional relationship with our founder’s family, Greg joins our team at an exciting time  as we accelerate the evolution of this very special social enterprise into a global luxury brand. In  this new role, Greg will lead Jaipur Rugs collaborations, campaign imagery, cultural  commissions and special initiatives that exhibit the private collection of founder NK Chaudhary.  He will head creative strategy and vision and bring a new global focus to partnerships and  exhibitions. Greg will work side by side Yogesh and Rutvi Chaudhary; Kavi Chaudhary, creative  director, will continue to design Jaipur Rugs award-winning bestselling collections.  

Greg was previously editor of AD India, where he was known for invigorating the interiors  magazine with world-class photography and innovative projects in craftsmanship and  contemporary art. Based in Mumbai since 2015, he joined Condé Nast India after seven years  in Paris where he was deputy editor to the creative director Yaffa Assouline. British-born, he is a  graduate of Oxford University, where he read PPE at Christ Church.  

“My vision is to weave Jaipur Rugs across contemporary culture with edgy creative  collaborations and prestigious partnerships,” says Greg. “The ambition is that Jaipur Rugs will  become part of the cultural fabric around the world,” says Greg.
