Jitendra Kumar returns with Season 3 of ‘Kota Factory’ on June 20
After receiving appreciation for ‘Panchayat 3’, within a month’s time Jitendra Kumar is back with yet another season of his hit series – ‘Kota Factory’. The Viral Fever’s creation, ‘Kota Factory’s Season 3 was announced a few months ago by Netflix in a special announcement. Now, in an interesting teaser, the platform has revealed a launch date for the show, which stars Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, Ahsaas Channa, and Rajesh Kumar, who are going to retain their roles. Tillotama Shome is going to be a new addition in the show as she plays a chemistry teacher in Season 3.
The makers have posted a special video on their official Instagram handle and it starts with Jitendra’s popular character, known as Jeetu Bhaiya, writing a math problem on the board. “There’s full attendance in the comments section. What are the comments like? ‘When is Kota Factory Season 3 coming?’. ‘When is Jeetu Bhaiya returning’. I am coming soon and so is ‘Kota Factory Season 3’,” he says, looking into the camera and asking fans to solve the problem written on the board.
The maths problem is: 8 + 4 X 3 - 6 / 2 + 3^2 / 3 X 2 - 3. “The answer to this question is the actual release date of the season. So, pick up your pen and get started,” he says at the end of the video. Soon, the audience managed to guess the release date June 20.
The first season of the black and white show, premiered in 2019 on YouTube and TVF Play simultaneously, it gained positive feedback and became popular immediately. Netflix then decided to do the second season of the show and it was launched in 2021. After nearly three years, the third season is premiering on the platform this month.
Meanwhile, Jitendra Kumar is said to be one of the highest paid actors on OTT, it has been reported that he apparently charges Rs 70,000 per episode. The actor started his acting journey with TVF and gained praise for his work. He has featured in many successful stints of TVF and featured in various popular series and films. He was awarded for his work too. As per reports, apart from owning a lavish house in Mumbai, he has a collection of luxury cars.
