Kamlesh Mehta quits RMG Connect

Kamlesh Mehta, senior creative director and Anis Budye, creative director, RMG Connect have reportedly put in their papers.

And according to the reports, they have decided to set up their own digital agency, named Coffee Digital.

Coffee Digital will be based in Mumbai and offer creative and social media marketing solutions. There are no plans to provide online media buying and planning functions to advertisers.

At RMG Connect, Kamlesh has worked on brands such as MTV Roadies, STAR TV, Sony Bravia, Bharti AXA, Phoenix Mills, Legrand, Nike, CEAT and Godrej.

He has about 12 years of experience in the industry and Budye has about eight years of work experience in the digital space.

This is the second time that Kamlesh has taken up an entrepreneurial role. Earlier, in 1998, he floated a website design firm called Netrix, which he closed down in 2001 to join OgilvyOne as web designer. Later, he worked with Interface and Tribal DDB as well.
