Kismet KONEKT-ION in the virtual ad world
Wait, before you jump around exclaiming Eureka¦ a small correction: Its (!) YUREEKAH with the exclamation up in the front, and hey presto! You've got information you wanted. It's as simple as the "K' in the "Konekt' part of its name †no ambiguities at all!
ADKONEKT helps the advertisers determine the best options for future brand of advertising. Its unique technology aims to be next generation in performance-based marketing or digital advertising solutions. It is so designed that an existing ad can also be converted into the new click-to-call feature through which the customer can talk to an advertiser for free. Adkonekt claims that "click to call" advertisers, who'll bear the call charges, can convert their existing normal CPM/CPC campaigns into a CTC performance campaign.
All that the prospective customers require to do is click on ADKONEKT's banner ad and get contacted instantly over phone by the advertiser. The click gets redirected to a webpage where the customer has to fill in with customary personal details †names, contact numbers et al †before finally clicking on the "call me' icon and wait for the advertiser to call. While customers will not be charged a penny for the call, the advertisers will have to pay only for the duration of interaction with the customers, which works out to be much economical than the prevalent modes. Advertisers or marketers can employ call centre services for such services or have their own people attend to such calls, according to their convenience of modus operandi.
As far as the costings are concerned ADKONEKT intends to function on a CPT (Cost Per Talk) module where the pricing has been kept in mind. An advertiser would be paying 0.70 cents per minute for the RI market and $1 per minute for the NRI market. ADKONEKT is a purely performance-based tool where the customer has to pay only when a call gets generated unlike the conventional CPM/CPC where the customer isn't sure of the leads generated or like CPA/CPL where he has to pay heavily per lead.
Sharing some insights behind the launch of this click-to-call technology adnetwork, ADKONEKT is open to advertisers/agencies belonging to any vertical for its clientele in the "click to call" banners. Having said that, the company states that any one who wants hot leads is its potential customer. The promoters also said they have couple of big advertisers lined up, though the website would not be able to take any campaign live before April 10.
While affirming Adgully's query if the site has been able to rope in any advertiser to use this technology so far, YUREEKAH however, citing policy reasons, declined revealing names, but said that it is having tie ups with big ad networks, which will help it sell banner ad inventory to the marketers.
The "click to call display" technology for the time being targets clients in the US, the UK and Middle East markets. However, with due course it intends to spread globally.
