Kizilbash quits Ten Sports
Ten Sports ' a Taj TV India unit ' has experienced the departure of a senior hand, Rukin Kizilbash. Kizilbash was GM at Ten Sports and was with the sports channel since it was launched in India in April 2002. He was one of the chief members of the team that launched the channel here.
Kizilbash joined Ten Sports as National Head of Ad Sales and was responsible for one of the most lucrative advertising revenue period during India's tour of Pakistan in 2004 and 2006. Kizilbash was promoted to handle General Manager duties of Ten Sport's Indian operation. In this capacity, he was responsible for distribution, marketing and finance along with ad sales.
Kizilbash has an experience spanning 15 years of effort in the media sphere. After eight years with Ten Sports and helping the channel achieve notable revenue over the years, Kizilbash is rumoured to be moving to another sports media establishment; however this wasn't a confirmed development.
