Krishnarao Buddha moves on from Parle after 23-year stint

Krishnarao Buddha, Senior Category Head - Marketing at Parle Products, has decided to move on after a stint of over 23 years. Announcing this on LinkedIn, Buddha wrote, “After an unforgettable journey, the time has come to turn the page and move on from my role at Parle Products.”

As Senior Category Head – Marketing, Buddha was leading the Confectionery, Snacks, Cakes and Rusk portfolio at Parle. He had joined the FMCG major in 2001 as Product Manager, handling a portfolio of both Biscuits & Confectionery. He had created successful brands in Parle Kreams - a mass cream biscuit offering, and Parle Kaccha Mango Bite - a raw mango flavoured candy, besides some other brands.

Prior to Parle, he had worked with Gold Cross Ltd, Excelcia Foods Ltd, Uncle Chipps Co Ltd, and Maxwell Apparels Ltd.

In the course of his career spanning almost three decades, Buddha was responsible for creating and scaling Rs 100+ crore brands, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing innovative strategies across Modern Trade, E-commerce, and Digital platforms.

While he has not yet revealed his next destination, Buddha wrote, “As I step into the next chapter, I do so with immense gratitude, excitement, and optimism for what lies ahead. Here’s to embracing new opportunities, continuing to grow, and forging new paths in this ever-evolving journey. Stay tuned – this is just the beginning!”
