Prior to Leo Burnett, he spent over 17 years at J. Walter Thompson (now Wunderman Thompson), holding the position of Vice President & Client Services Director.

Purnadeep Chakraborty Creative Head of Bang In The Middle, who was formely associated with Leo Burnett took it to LinkdeIn to express grief he wrote,

"Goodbye, Sam!

For many of us, you WERE, and always will be, Leo Burnett Gurgaon. Not the swanky office, not the prestigious accounts, but the happy person, walking around, stopping at desks to chat, try a snack and then poke good natured fun with something, anything.

Sometimes you were a better copywriter than most of us writers, and left us wondering why we hadn't thought of that. I know you secretly wished to be in our team :)"
