LIC launches ‘One Man Office’ digital service for agents
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched its innovative "One Man Office" (OMO) online service, aimed at empowering its sales force and enhancing digital service delivery for policyholders. The service, unveiled on February 17, 2025, will enable LIC agents to provide seamless assistance to customers round the clock.
LIC’s Managing Director & CEO, Shri Siddhartha Mohanty, highlighted the significance of OMO, stating that it would serve as a crucial tool for agents to promote life insurance and deliver superior customer service. The initiative aligns with LIC’s long-term vision of achieving ‘Insurance for All by 2047.’
OMO is designed as a mobile digital office, offering agents an all-in-one platform to facilitate policy sales, track business, and provide after-sales services. It includes features such as a premium calculator, benefit illustration, e-NACH registration, renewal premium payments, online loan requests, and claim-related assistance. Additionally, a knowledge center, insurance calculators, and office locator will assist agents in enhancing customer experience.
The service is integrated with LIC’s ANANDA (Atma Nirbhar Agents New Business Digital Application) platform, reinforcing the company’s digital transformation efforts. LIC plans to introduce additional features in phases to further enhance the platform’s capabilities.
With OMO, LIC aims to equip its agents with a powerful digital ecosystem, ensuring they can operate independently and efficiently, making insurance services more accessible and seamless for customers across India.
