Media Press Germany powers metadata for Prime Video's new linear channel

Media Press Germany has announced it will provide comprehensive metadata and program listings for Prime Video's newly launched linear channel, "Prime," available to Prime members in Germany and Austria. This collaboration ensures that viewers can easily navigate and discover content on the new channel through electronic program guides (EPGs) and various media platforms.

Media Press Germany is enriching the raw data provided by Prime Video with customer-specific tags, genres, video descriptors, and other technical and editorial features. This enhanced metadata allows for optimized publication across a wide range of platforms, including TV user interfaces, websites, mobile apps, and print media, reaching millions of readers through leading TV magazines.

To facilitate seamless and automated data processing, Media Press Germany is utilizing its OpenID product suite. This includes the integration of leading identifiers and age classification systems relevant across Europe, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
