When women take leading positions, they bring a myriad of skills and perspectives on to the table. They are dynamic leaders who lead with an amalgamation of guidance, authority and empathy. Even during the tough times of the pandemic, it is the sheer will, multitasking capabilities and commitment of these women that enabled them to strategically balance their household and workplace effortlessly. Women are sensitive beings that are abreast with techniques to bring the best in people. This very trait has helped our women leaders across various roles to bounce back quickly and encounter the multiple impediments during these tough times and deliver results successfully and effectively.

The pandemic made many of the women leaders tough and brave. Staying focussed has helped to deliver business results. Prioritising women’s opportunities and leadership roles in the workplace should be given top priority to accelerate growth in India post-pandemic. Women need to be given greater equality and leadership across all categories and industry. Indian companies need to accept and promote women in leadership positions as business-as-usual. It is crucial for us as a society and economy to optimally utilize our resources.
