Meta to unveil key principles for digital marketing success in “Click Here’
Meta has announced, with Wildfire (UK) and Little, Brown and Company (US) imprints of Hachette Livre, the future publication of a new book, titled ‘Click Here: The Art and Science of Digital Marketing and Advertising’. Authored by Alex Schultz, Meta’s Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Analytics, the book is aimed at helping all businesses grow in today’s digital marketing landscape.
In ‘Click Here’, Schultz will share key principles and best practices to achieve growth through digital marketing. Providing advice for everything – from picking the right channels, to testing creative, to using generative AI, to building accurate measurement tools – the book seeks to be the essential guide that marketers at every level need to succeed.
On the reasons to write this book, Schultz stated in a LinkedIn post, “We believe the timing is right for this and there is a gap in the market for this book. ‘Ogilvy on Advertising’ (from 1983) remains a bible for me, and the whole industry, on all the channels that existed before digital came along. There is no similar book widely accepted for the channels that have grown since the 90s. My hope is that ‘Click Here’ can fill that gap.”
Schultz has spent over 20 years focused on business growth and analytics, first when he built a site for paper airplanes which grew to be the world’s largest of its kind and inspired his first book, then at eBay and for the last 17 years for Meta. He has advised numerous startups and entrepreneurs, including Airbnb and Coursera, and has taught courses at eBay University, Y Combinator’s start-up school series at Stanford and other universities.
The book will be published simultaneously in hardcover, ebook and audio download on October 7, 2025.
