MPG India forecasts its growth at INR 800 crore

The Indian arm of MPG ' the global giant in media unit ' is said to touch INR 800 crore in 2009-10. Despite losing a senior member, Jeffery Crasto, and not being able to find a replacement yet, the agency is still upbeat about the prospects of achieving the target.

MPG India is going to capitalise on its diversified services and has aggressive plans for digital and outdoor divisions and aims to profit from the two. The market has been sluggish as far as entertainment and sports is concerned but with IPL, there should be a rise in capital all round.

MPG India is also gearing up to introduce another brand, as reported in the media.

Although the general mood of the market has been slow, MPG India managed to do good through clients like Maxx Mobile that gave MPG the media mandate for its products. Other brands to chip in to the business were Nirlep, Jockey ad Sistema Shyam Teleservices.
