Mr. I. Venkat is the new Chairman of MRUC

The MRUC (Media Research Users Council)  announced the new office bearers. The Board was elected at its 21st Annual General Meeting held on September 25, 2015. At the AGM, Board of Governors unanimously elected I. Venkat, Director, Ushodaya Enterprises as the Chairman for a period of 2 years. He has taken over from CVL Srinivas, CEO, GroupM South Asia.

Sanjay Tripathy, Senior Executive Vice President at HDFC Life is the new Vice Chairman of MRUC. He has taken over from Rohit Gupta of Multi Screen Media.
NP Sathyamurthy, Executive Director, DDB Mudra Group is the new Chairman, Technical Committee. He was earlier Chairman, Marketing Committee. Sathyamurthy has taken over from Paritosh Joshi.

Nikhil Rangnekar, CEO, Spatial Access is the new Chairman of Marketing Committee.

Srinivas and Joshi will continue to mentor the Council.

Meanwhile, Shaswati Saradar, CEO, MRUC has decided to move on. Sarada has served the council for nearly five years. She is being succeeded by Radhesh Uchil as the new CEO of MRUC. Prior to joining MRUC, Uchil was General Manager at Platinum Media
