Nasscom Foundation appoints Jyoti Sharma as its new CEO
Nasscom Foundation announced the appointment of Jyoti Sharma as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over two decades of experience in driving social impact across diverse sectors—including gender equality, education, climate change, regenerative agriculture, child rights, and disaster management—Jyoti brings a wealth of expertise to lead the foundation into its next chapter of sustainable growth and inclusive impact powered by TechForGood.
Jyoti’s career reflects her unwavering commitment to social empowerment and sustainable development. Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, h as Organic Cotton Accelerator, the European Commission, World Resources Institute, Magic Bus India Foundation, Action Aid, and Save the Children. Her strengths lie in building high-performing teams, driving impactful programs, and mobilizing significant resources for social initiatives.

Aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and India’s vision of inclusive growth, the foundation’s flagship programs—Digital Literacy, Skilling and Employability for marginalized youth (especially women), Digital Capacity Building for Women Entrepreneurs, Social Innovation, and NGO Empowerment—have created significant impact. Moving forward, the foundation plans to deepen its focus on emerging areas such as AIForSocialGood and enhancing the digital capacity of the impact ecosystem.
