Nazara gets comics on mobile

The comics on mobile are the latest fad and companies are leaving no opportunity to cash on it.

Comics on mobile is the latest value added service and a Sequoia Capital funded VAS company - Nazara Technologies has partnered with Turner Group's Cartoon Network to bring popular cartoons to mobile screens.

According to the reports, Wap.CartoonNetwork.in was created by VAS provider Mobile2Win, which merged with Chandigarh-based Altruist Technologies. The portal currently does not display any comics.

Cartoons like Ben 10, the Power Puff Girls, Johnny Bravo and Dexter will be available as comics on Idea Cellular, Vodafone Essar, Loop Telecom, Tata DoCoMo, RCOM and Airtel.

The company is also planning to launch Java-based application next year to download entire comics.
