News18 Bangla’s Durga Puja programming celebrates spirit of Shakti

As the auspicious festival of Durga Puja approaches, News18 Bangla proudly announces the launch of its special programming with the promo: 'Bodhon theke bisarjan noy, sob din e debi pokkho hoy.' This heartfelt message underlines the idea that the strength symbolized by Goddess Durga transcends the five days of festivities, reflecting the spirit of Shakti in every woman’s life, all year round.

This year, News18 Bangla will bring viewers an enhanced experience through a variety of programs that engage with the cultural essence of Durga Puja. A key highlight is the Best Durga Puja Contest, which will span across Kolkata and several districts, including Residential Welfare Associations (RWAs). The contest will celebrate the most creative and impactful Puja organizers, recognizing their contribution to the tradition, creativity, and community spirit of the festival.

Adding to the festive joy is Pujor Adda, a special show designed to capture the informal, spirited conversations that are central to the Durga Puja celebration. Viewers will enjoy lively discussions with celebrities from diverse fields, along with music and performances that will heighten the excitement of the season.

As a fitting conclusion to its Durga Puja programming, News18 Bangla will host the Dashobhuja Awards, an event recognizing ten exceptional women who have overcome societal barriers to achieve remarkable success in their respective fields. While the awards mark the conclusion of the channel’s Durga Puja celebrations, they also serve as a tribute to the resilience and power of women, in line with the spirit of the festival.

Tune in to News18 Bangla from 6th October to 13th October for a complete and immersive Durga Puja experience, filled with celebration, creativity, and festive joy.
