Now donate blood on your birthday

This is what the new blood donation ad says. BBC World Service Trust has rolled out the commercial for the National AIDS Control Organisation.

To insure that safe blood reaches to the needy the licensed blood banks need adequate blood and this campaign aims to encourage youngsters to donate blood.

The ad shows a man sitting in for an interview. The smug interviewer, along with his lady personal assistant, questions the protagonist on his late arrival. The latter reveals that he had some important work to do, on which the man and his assistant are taken by surprise ' they wonder what could be more important than being on time for a job interview.

But the young man says that he had gone to donate blood, this changes interviewers expressions and he is offered a seat. Which is followed by a slogan that attracts youth to donate blood.
