"O" to hit a high
Bacardi is to launch "O," an orange-flavored rum in Karnataka and phase it to Andhra and the rest of India by the end of 2010.
Targeting tier-II and tier-III markets, as flavours- especially citrus flavours -are popular in India, in the white spirits segment, O proves the brewers premium and international standards for the experimental drinker.
Bacardi also plans to launch it's heavy-aged gold rum in a couple months and has targeted tier 11 and tier 111 markets for the two with 19 other smaller cities marked for promotional activities.
