OMD and RK Swamy win laurels at int'l marketing awards
RK Swamy's Digital Direction and OMD's interactive arms of OMD have won silver and bronze awards, respectively, at the Internationalist Awards for Innovative Digital Marketing Solutions.
OMD has bagged the award for a mobile application or widget, created for Johnson & Johnson (J&J), to promote the Acuvue Moist brand of disposable contact lenses in India.
The widget, which works on a GPRS enabled mobile phone, was conceptualised by OMD Digital and MRM Worldwide and developed in association with Mauj Mobile.
Once installed on a phone, it analyses the daily water intake requirement of a user, reminds him to drink water at regular intervals and tracks the number of glasses consumed.
It also provides an update on water intake at the end of the day.
The Internationalist Awards are organised by Internationalist, a US based bi-monthly magazine related to the advertising, media and marketing space.
