PARK HYATT CHENNAI LAUNCHES A UNIQUE PROGRAM TO CAPTURE SOUL SHOTS OF CHENNAI
Park Hyatt Chennai the upcoming luxury brand from Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Chicago, announced a special project in the city to capture vivid images which reflect Chennai's distinct personality. Open to both amateur and professional photographers this initiative is aptly called ‘Capturing the soul of Chennai’. It is aimed at creating awareness and chronicling images which truly represent the city.
This initiative is in line with the series of activities carried out by Park Hyatt Chennai to embrace local sensibilities and celebrate the legacy of the city.
Speaking on the project Yann Gillet, GM, Park Hyatt Chennai stated, “This initiative of capturing the soul of Chennai is a part of our endeavor to collaborate and encourage an innate understanding of the city’s landscape that makes this community so vibrant. It is a very exciting project as each image is impressive and brings the photographers unique perspective. The images which have been posted as of now have a contemporary and yet are traditional at the same time, mirroring the heady charm of Chennai.”
This project is being anchored through social media platforms with the photographs being posted on Park Hyatt Chennai’s Facebook page. A panel of judges along with the Park Hyatt Chennai Facebook community would critique these photographs on the basis of their skill, creativity, thought and relevance.
The final selected photographers will be commemorated through a series of Park Hyatt Chennai’s Soul of Chennai postcards. These postcards will feature iconic images and will be a medium to promote the city’s multifaceted personality.
