Prashant Mehta joins MoneyControl

Web18, the internet and mobile arm of Network 18 has roped in Prashant Mehta as senior vice president, business development and new products for its business and finance portal MoneyControl.com.

According to the reports, Prashant Mehta will be responsible for creating and driving new product strategies and focusing on personal finance solutions for the investor community.

Prashant will report to Joyson Thomas, chief operating officer, Web18. Prior to this Prashant was at HSBC where he worked as vice president and product head, investment products, HSBC Invest Direct Securities.
