Premiumisation, experiential strategies to drive Bacardi in 2025: Vinay Golikeri
“As we close out 2024, it feels incredible to reflect on a pivotal year of growth and innovation at Bacardi India, which stands out as one of our priority markets globally,” says Vinay Golikeri, Managing Director, Bacardi India & Neighboring Countries.
Reflecting on the year gone by, he says that in 2024, Bacardi’s increase in investments in India has enabled the introduction of new standout offerings and experiences by the company. Right from premium additions such as with the pan-India launch of LEGACY, Bacardi’s homegrown whisky, DEWAR’S Double Double 36-year-old Scotch whisky, and PATRÓN El Cielo, world’s first tequila to be distilled four times, to market-tailored introductions with BACARDÍ Mango Chili and Teeling Small Batch Classic Whiskey, the company jas made significant strides in its journey catering to evolving consumer preferences for premium, localized, and immersive drinking experiences.
“Looking ahead to 2025, we are charging with the same spirit of family, fearlessness, and founder’s mentality that drives us at Bacardi,” says Golikeri, adding, “In the backdrop of rising affluence and premiumising tastes, we are thrilled about unveiling two new products: PATRÓN El Alto and GREY GOOSE Altius, adding to our repertoire of super-premium offerings.”
Reiterating Bacardi’s commitment to crafting moments that matter, Golikeri says that the company will continue to bring people together through unforgettable experiences, “leading this vibrant new era for India’s cocktail culture while fostering deeper connections across our brands and offerings”.
