Prestigious awards for Zee News' hosts

At this award function two Zee News' talk show hosts - Alka Saxena (Zara Sochiye) and Swati Chaturvedi (Kahiye Janab) was felicitated with the "Madhavjyoti Shikar Samman' and the "Madhavjyoti Best Anchor' - Talk show awards, and it was presented by Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Alka Saxena received the award for her outstanding contribution in the field of journalism through her talk show Zara Sochiye. And, Swati Chaturvedi won the Best Anchor- Talk Show award for Kahiye Janab for her professional approach and in-depth stories on the lives of the guests on her talk show.

The Madhavjyoti Samman award is given in the memory of late Shri Madhav Rao Scindia, a senior politician, former Cabinet Minister and the scion of Scindia royal family. This award honours journalists whose works exemplify excellence in different categories like reporting, anchoring and photography. The Madhav Jyoti Shikhar Samman is the topmost award given by the institution.
