Radisson Blu Hotel picks Firuza Sharma as Dir. Sales & Marketing
Firuza Sharma, has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Radisson Blu Hotel New Delhi Paschim Vihar. With her rich and versatile experience of over 18 years in the hospitality industry, she brings with her a strong understanding of the Indian market along with an immense knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and hotel operations.
In her new role, Sharma will report to Preet Inder Singh, General Manager, Radisson Blu New Delhi Paschim Vihar. She will be taking over from Kanchan Rizvi who had joined the hotel in September 2010 and had been handling the responsibility since then.
During the course of her career Sharma has been associated with hotels such as Lalit Hotels, IHHR Hospitality, Golden Palms Spa & Resort, The Leela Hotel etc. Her last stint was at Ascott Limited. Her major working experience has been in Sales & Marketing while her initial role was in Food and Beverages.
At the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group owned Radisson Blu Hotel New Delhi Paschim Vihar, she will be responsible for strategizing and implementing the sales and marketing plans to ensure competitive positioning of the hotel.
Sharma has done her Diploma in Hotel Management from National Council of Hotel Management & Catering Technology-Dadar Catering College, Mumbai. Her interests include reading and travelling.
