Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath, founder of Naturals Ice Cream, has passed away

Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath, the visionary founder of Naturals Ice Cream, one of India's premier ice cream brands, passed away at 70. Fondly known as the "Ice Cream Man of India," Kamath died at Mumbai's H N Reliance Foundation Hospital on the evening of May 17 after a brief illness. He leaves behind his wife and two sons.

Kamath's journey started in Mulki, a small town in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada region. From these modest beginnings, he built Naturals Ice Cream into a brand now valued at around 400 crore. His innovative use of natural ingredients and unique flavors revolutionized the ice cream industry, earning him widespread acclaim.

Under Kamath's leadership, Naturals Ice Cream became synonymous with quality and authenticity, garnering a loyal customer base throughout India. His legacy is defined by his dedication to excellence and pioneering spirit, which will continue to be remembered in the ice cream industry for years to come.
