Rahul Mahajan to do a Rakhi Sawant on NDTV Imagine!

RDLJ is a show through which politico'television personality Rahul Mahajan will select a bride for himself from a pool of 16 potential brides. The second in the series of the "Swayamvar', the show is scheduled to go on air during mid'December.

Rakhi Sawant's groom'hunting show, Rakhi Ka Swayamvar attracted 28 million viewers across the nation (heck, really?!) so Rahul Mahajan's show should be no less attractive as a laughter dose to many. Rahul, as is known, was formerly married to his sweetheart of 13 years, Shweta Singh for two years.

Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jaayega is conceptualized as having a 25'30 episode run on NDTV Imagine. Going by this figure, the show should come to its end in February, 2010. What a relief hearing that! RDLJ is being produced by SOL Productions ' the same folks responsible for Rakhi Ka Swyamvar.
