Ranjit Babu resigns as Amazon India's Director - Consumer Electronics
Ranjit Babu, who held the position of Director - Consumer Electronics at Amazon India, has resigned, according to media reports.
Other recent senior departures include Suresh John. Arora and Gaurav Arora. Arora, previously the Director of Products at Amazon Pay India, played a key role in launching and scaling digital payment services across various categories, including money transfers, bill payments, movie ticketing, financial services. He also introduced the Amazon Pay wallet, which is now among India’s leading prepaid payment instruments, as reported by Moneycontrol.
Babu began his professional journey as a Systems Analyst at the Pan Arab Research Center before moving to Nokia, where he advanced to the role of National Key Account Manager. He later served as Vice President - Operations at Karadi Tales Company, before joining Amazon. He was appointed Category Leader at Cloudtail India Private Limited.
