Rashmi Vasisht joins Cognizant as VP Corporate Communications

Cognizant has recently appointed Rashmi Vasisht as Vice President, Corporate Communications. 

Rashmi is a progressive leader with two decades of experience in corporate communications, media relations, digital strategies, and public affairs across diverse industries and geographies. She is well recognized as a strategic planner with laser focus on results, specialises in combining compelling storytelling with data-driven campaigns to create game changing narratives.

She has worked across complex global conglomerates for delivering transformational campaigns related to major technology, hospitality and healthcare brands, often during changing and challenging scenarios and is committed to a more sustainable and socially responsible world.

Before joining Cognizant, Rashmi was associated with Apple as Corporate Communication Lead where she was recruited to lead the communication strategies and communication mandates to promote the company’s reputation and amplify its brand value.

Prior to this she has also worked with The Leela Palaces-Hotels and Resorts as Director-Public Relations and Corporate Communications for more than seven years. Rashmi has also been a part of New York State Attorney General.
