RobinAge wins recommendation from US based Parents' Choice
Parents' Choice first reviewed Robin Age in 2009, and watched its steady improvements each year since. According to Parents' Choice, the glossy pages offer a great deal of information from which to choose and navigating the diverse stories, world news, sports, activities, and other segments is certainly worth the effort. "Creating Bright Sparks", the publication's tagline, fits its content well.
Features such as "Slice of History" promote cross-country knowledge and language exchange. For each of the two areas of India profiled monthly, an activity box encourages readers to discover words from the language spoken in that area. As in years past, each edition offers a doubled sided one page pull out section titled EOTO, Each One Teach One, designed for readers to help teach fellow citizens functional English, both spoken and written, use games, puzzles and written exercises. Parent's Choice applauded the publishers for devoting resources to a campaign asking young citizens to help other learn, commenting "It doesn't get much better than that."
RobinAge has been created to encourage the habit of reading through content that is interactive, informative, positive and engaging. RobinAge carries news and information on current affairs, science, history, sports, careers, culture and environment along with activities, puzzles and interactive projects. Each issue also includes a special Each One Teach One supplement that children can use to teach someone basic written and spoken English.
Robin Age's Motto is to encourage young readers to Care for their surroundings and environment, share the joy of reading and learning and Dare to act upon their dreams and ambitions. Robin Age serves as a forum through which children can express their opinions and creativity. 25% of RobinAge's content is created by children. RobinAge is published by Deep Prakash Publications and is an initiative by the Printografik group of companies.
