SAMHI partners with Marriott to rebrand Pune and Jaipur Hotels
SAMHI Hotels Ltd., a leading Indian hotel ownership and asset management company, announced plans to rebrand two hotels acquired as part of the ACIC portfolio. This move leverages SAMHI's experience in hotel turnarounds and positions the hotels for stronger performance in their respective markets.
The 217-room hotel in Pune will be rebranded as a Courtyard by Marriott. The conversion and renovation are expected to be completed by the end of fiscal year 2026. This will be SAMHI's second Courtyard by Marriott property, joining their successful Bengaluru location.
Jaipur's 114-room hotel will undergo a similar transformation, becoming part of Marriott's Tribute Portfolio. This unique collection focuses on independent hotels with distinctive character and vibrant social experiences. The rebranding, slated for completion by FY 2026, aims to significantly improve the hotel's market positioning.
"We're excited about this significant step in integrating the ACIC portfolio," said Mr. Ashish Jakhanwala, Chairman & Managing Director of SAMHI Hotels Ltd. "Our proven ability to revitalize hotel assets, combined with the rebranding and management agreements, will unlock these hotels' full potential and enhance their contribution to SAMHI."
In addition to the rebranding, SAMHI has signed agreements to convert the remaining four ACIC hotels from franchise to management agreements with Marriott.
