Sanjaya Baru joins Business Standard

Sanjaya Baru has been appointed as the new Editor of Business Standard. Sanjaya will replace TN Ninan, who has been the Editor since July 1993.

Ninan has been elevated to the post of Chairman and Editorial Director of Business Standard Ltd. Sanjaya has a excellent track record in journalism and public service.

Sanjaya has worked with Financial Express, as a media advisor to the Prime minister and was also a professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore.

Sanjaya joined Business Standard in October 2009 and was suceeded Ninan as Editor.
