Saregama India and Kailasa Records presents RANGEELE-KAILASH KHER

Kailasa Records, Kailash Kher’s start up Music label  with Saregama, India’s flagship music and entertainment Company proudly present Kailash Kher’s Kailasa-RANGEELE, a fresh new album in the signature kailasa style!

“Rangeele”  11 tracks, produced by Paresh and Naresh Kamath, penned and composed by Kailash at Kailasa studios Mumbai,. The sound of this album is completely organic. Kailash Kher's music is a genre in itself, with smash hits in the past, like Teri Deewani and saiyaan that created the trend of soulful music with elements of folk & traditional music in contemporary form in the industry today. Kailash’s band Kailasa is among the most respected Indian bands, globally. 

Along with the music album, Kailasa Records has also created videos for the tracks, “Rangeele” a story of reaching out and achieving what you desire in life, portrayed through the journey of a song.), “Tu kya Jaane” (a story of love, in its endless forms) and “Yaada Teriyaan” (discovering love from different perspectives) videos of other songs are in production. Record Label plans to have atleast 9 music videos for this album.

One music video is planned with a unique approach, Students of Journalism and media across the nation, will be invited to make a video for the selected track, which will be uploaded on Kailash Kher’s youtube channel and the winner will be selected by the democratic way thru online likes/hits.

The album was released  by the august hands of Shri Amitabh Bachchan with a scintillating live performance by Kailash Kher at Novotel, Juhu. The event was organised by Saregama India and anchored by RJ Nitin from Big FM, our radio partner. Anupam Kher and Prakash Jha graced the evening. The launch was attended by luminaries  from  the music word., Anu Mallik, Sonu Niigaam, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Aakriti, Mahalakshmi Iyer…..

Mr. Kailash Kher says – “Rangeele is my accolade to love. In all its forms, be it longing, passion, patriotism, devotion or even hatred! This album is extremely special for me for various reasons. Among the most powerful being that the artists featuring in this album also include the unbelievable Mr Amitabh Bachchan. It also features my 2-year-old son Kabir and is our Record Label, Kailasa Records, first album. Rangeele is my gratitude to all my listeners since this is reflection of my observation of my fans through my 8 years of career journey, I have tried to reciprocate the love and goodness they have extended to me and my band. Rangeele is like a canvass for my music, Listeners will enjoy and fill colours of their own expressions. But I know, that everyone who hears Rangeele , will have some songs that they will feel are their own!"
